Fathers Day

I know Fathers Day was last week but I still wanted to share what we did for Micha and our dads. 

Family Time

 

My oldest brother, Oscar, got remarried at the beginning of the month.  I am so happy that he found such an amazing wife!  I remember sitting at church(it was a couple of months after Oscar had separated from his ex-wife) and Tara was speaking in Sacrament.  The whole time she was speaking I just kept thinking what a wonderful person she was and what a perfect fit she would be for Oscar.  Marji eventually set them up several months later and the rest is history!  It was wonderful to have the entire DeVaux family together!

Ellie got to meet Jenny and Trish for the first time. 

It’s always fun shopping with sisters.  We enjoyed       Trish and Jenny enjoyed foot rubs from
a night out.  We ate sushi and did some shopping.       Maddy.  Maddy loves giving massages

We had to get in a game of Settlers of Catan!  This is our fave game to play.

The kids enjoyed a short day at the pool! We got rained out but they had fun while it lasted.

Ellie-5 Months Old

Ellie is rolling ALL over the place!  She gets all over the room by rolling around.  She is also getting up on her knees and it almost looks like she is about to crawl!  I definitely am not ready for a crawler, lets stick to the rolling.

She stared eating rice cereal and fruits/veggies.  She has been pretty disgusted by the fruits but loves all the veggies so far.

She is sitting up pretty good on her own until she gets excited and kicks her feet.

She is grabbing at everything in sight.

She loves to play Patty-Cake and Peek-a-boo

She loves bath time and kicks like crazy the whole time!  The person giving her a bath is usually soaked by the end of the bath.

I know I am biased but I think she is absolutely precious!!  These 5 months have flown by!  These days when they are this little goes by so fast and I am trying to enjoy them(just in case she is our last).  I love to see Maddy and Livy interact and play with her.  They adore her and are always willing to help with her.  Maddy has started reading to her everyday and Livy is always quick to grab Ellie’s favorite toy when she is upset.  Ellie’s crib is still in our room, I’m just not quite ready to move her out.  On the other hand, Olivia is excited to have a new roommate soon.  We’ll see, maybe the big 6 month will be a good time.

Livy’s Birthday

 

I am very late on posting these pics, but better late than never……Livy had Kaylee spend the night to help celebrate her birthday.  Livy had doughnuts, bacon and diet coke for her birthday breakfast.

I was lazy this year and did store bought cupcakes.  Livy loved them and that’s all that matters.

As you have noticed, Livy is not capable of smiling or making a normal face for the camera!

We opted to take all the presents home and open them there.  I have a pet peeve of children opening presents around other children!  It drives me absolutely bonkers!  You can never get any good pictures, there is always a kid shoving another present at the birthday kid, all the kids always want to open and play with the presents(I could go on but I will stop).  Anyways, she had a great time opening all her presents.  She got some great things!
