Summer Days

 

Ellie cracks us up with her sleeping techniques.  Her leg is usually crossed over to her knee or propped up on her aquarium.  She also likes to cover her face with her blanket(I always go in after she’s asleep and take the blanket off her face)

 

These two girls never stop eating!!  This is their second dinner before going to bed.

    

We went and tried out the new War Memorial Splash Pad and the girls loved it!

Our library does a great summer reading program.  The girls got weekly prizes for reading.

 

Pool days are a must with these 100+ days!  Maddy with her friends Ella Grace and Savannah.

Ellie- 6 Months Old

I am a few weeks late on this post, time slips away during the summer!

Ellie is 14 lbs 14 oz(27%) and 26”(61%) long

She loves Graham Crackers and club crackers

Her bottom two teeth made an appearance a couple of weeks ago.  She loves doing raspberries and motorboats with her mouth, especially during church!  She has also starting giving kisses(very slobbery kisses).

Ellie is still rolling all over the place and she is sitting like a pro now!

It’s hard to believe we are half way through her first year!!! We couldn’t ask for a sweeter baby girl!  Happy 1/2 Year Ellie Harper!

4th of July

 

The girls are ready to celebrate The 4th of July!

I didn’t take a lot of pics but we had a fun 4th.  We ate lunch with the Baileys and then headed down to Hot Springs to my parents.  The kids enjoyed sprinklers, slip-n-slide, and swimming.  It wasn’t our typical 4th because there was a burn ban and we couldn’t do any fireworks.  My family always goes a little firework crazy so it kind of stunk not being able to do any.  It was still nice to spend the day with family and eat good food!

Summer Time

 

We are enjoying some time at the pool.  When it’s this hot, that’s about the only thing that you want to do!

Olivia has been working on writing her name.  I think she is doing pretty good. 

  

She is also perfecting her napping skills!  I think she is mastering this as well!

(I don’t know why she has on socks in the middle of summer)

Apparently Maddy has taken up meditating and Ninja fighting…….

 

She has also started sewing.  She loves watching “fashion shows”! Project Runway is a favorite(P.S. when does the new season start, we are dying for it, I miss Tim Gunn!), so why not see what she can do! 

This was her first project, a pillow for Olivia.  I did all the measuring and pinning, but she did the sewing.  She did a GREAT job and Livy loves it!

   

This little one is working hard on getting chubbier and cuter!  I think it is working!  She loves graham crackers! 

 

I have mastered my cupcake making skills!!  I have been making these A LOT!  For showers, church, get togethers, and Micha’s work.  These are the Rolo and Reese’s PB Cup ones and they are pretty delicious!  I got the recipes from this blog.

Oh yeah, and after what seems like 20 years in school, I am finally done!!  I finished with my final class on Monday.  I now have my Accounting degree!  It still hasn’t really sunk in that I am 100% done with school but I am 100% relieved! 

I’m not sure what I am more proud of, My cupcakes or my degree :)
