Olivia’s 5th Birthday- May 25, 2013

Olivia Lee was so excited to turn 5 this year!  We did Great Wolf Lodge for her Big Birthday Celebration and then had a small family get together on her Birthday. 

Olivia is a very funny girl.  She keeps us laughing.  She is a very strong willed little girl and knows exactly what she wants.

She loves playing with her friends.

Her favorite foods are ramen noodles, mac-n-cheese, sushi, and shrimp(from one extreme to the next)

Her favorite TV shows are Littlest Pet Shop, Power Puff Girls, Good Luck Charlie, and My Little Pony. 

Olivia gives the best hugs and always tells us how much she loves us.  She is a beautiful, smart, and entertaining girl and we LOVE her!

Great Wolf Lodge

We are driving home from Utah so I thought it was a perfect time to catch up on the blog, it’s been a while.

We went to Great Wolf Lodge in Dallas back in May.  We were in desperate need of a getaway.  Micha also had a business trip in Dallas so we thought it was a perfect time to go with him.  We also decided it was a perfect way to celebrate Olivia’s 5th birthday.

 

The girls were so excited to get there.

We went out the first night in Dallas and let Olivia pick for her birthday dinner.  She chose sushi, such a smart girl. 

Great Wolf Lodge is a blast.  There are so many things to do.  The girls loved playing in the arcade.

They loved the ice cream shop too.

It took Ellie a little while to get used to the water but once she did, she loved it.

This was Maddy’s 2nd time at Great Wolf Lodge.  She spent most of her time on the big slides.  She dragged me on them and had me screaming like a little kid.

Livy stayed in the kiddie area and LOVED it.  She probably went down the little slides 100 times!

We all had a GREAT time and will definitely be going back. 

Easter

We decided to do a “friends” Easter egg hunt this year.  We got together Saturday evening for dinner and an egg hunt.  You can never have too many egg hunts.  Ellie found one egg and was content.  She really just liked carrying the basket around and being outside.

I bet you wouldn’t guess that Ellie is 5 days older than Cole.  It’s so fun having babies close together with friends!

  This year I let the girls pick out their Easter dresses…..that was not easy.   

We went to my parent’s house for Easter.  We had wonderful food and good times as always.

It rained and stormed all Easter morning, but by late afternoon the sun came out and the Easter bunny was able to hide all the eggs.

The egg hunt was successful….no tears or fights.  Ellie was happy with her one egg again.
