Halloween

Brock-Giraffe, Maddy-Daphne, Grayson-Batman, Melanie-Cinderella
Micha and Maddy checking out all the candy!
Kristin and Otto Beaumont as Thing 1 and Thing 2.
Maddy and Sophie
Olivia was a Ballerina for our first Halloween party. Maddy has a little bit of a lazy eye in this pic. :)

Olivia as Scooby. We lost her head thing at the church party.
The Scooby Doo Gang minus Shaggy plus Cinderella. Micha's hair was supposed to be yellow but came out green.

Halloween was pretty fun this year. Maddy decided she wanted to be Daphne after seeing the costume at Target one day(I think she wanted it b/c it came with a wig). We thought it would be fun for the rest of us to be the other characters. I really didn't want Olivia to be Scooby but it was either that or Shaggy. But I think she made a pretty cute Scooby. Maddy also wanted to have a Halloween party at our house, so we let her invite her friends and some of ours and we had a great night. All the kids ate dinner and were ready to go Trick or Treating. Micha and I stayed at the house while Maddy went with everyone else. We put her older cousin Harrison in charge of her. They were gone for quite a while and I told everyone that I was sure Maddy was having someone carry her b/c anytime we go on walks she can never finish and has to have one of us carry her. Well a little bit later everyone started filing back in, sweaty and without costumes. (It was a very warm night and our neighborhood is very hilly!) Maddy and Harrison finally got back(the wig was off by now), and Harrison says, "Maddy made me carry her almost the whole time!" Ahhh, what a good big cousin!! All in all we had a fun night with family and friends and have way too much candy left!!!

Maddy is already planning on it being tradition. She asked if we can have a Halloween party every time.

How fun! I miss you girls (you and Jen). I love the Scooby family. Braeden just started watching Scooby Doo on TV in the last month, so if he wasn't sleeping right now he'd get a huge kick out of your costumes. Looks like you all had a blast!
